Def. like mario kart with real cars

Just like the title says Blur plays a lot like mario kart without the charm of the nintendo characters. Blur is an enjoyable experience with no identity or charm. Sure there's glitzy neon lights and fancy cars but I was left wanting. What I'm not quite sure, Blur is a good game but not great. The cars may look nice but look closer at the rest of the world and it's disappointing. I loved mario kart as a kid but what you realize is that part of the charm was that you were racing as classic nintendo characters. Maybe if blur let you create your own racer and customize that as well. Also a little more customization in the cars would hv been nice mods and paints are ok but maybe something like a custom decals or even those stickers they have in the game. In the end blur is a fun yet shallow game (not in terms of playtime but depth in the game i.e. variety.) and I can't see paying 60 dollars and being happy with the purchase. But it's definitely worth a rental.
