This movie is short. Very short. Perhaps 50 minutes. There ends the only drawback you should be aware of.
Those 50 minutes stand among the greatest works of this genre, developing a depth of character in so few words and images as to make it totally remarkable, and more than able to stand alone or among the best. Its visual beauty and impact are visceral. I place it among Noir, The Matrix, Serial Experiments: Lain, and Blade Runner. Have you played through Final Fantasy 6? So few words, so few images, such depth of character; one of the greats. This is such a film.
Now I want to go watch it again...
