Block Party for Wii Reviews by Gamers

I keep trying out these casual party style games hoping to find a collection that allows for actual fun for the whole family. This one drops the ball. As you get started you get to pick from four generic males and four generic females that have no relevance on the game whatsoever. I rented it for my 4 year old to try out and it is a bit out of his control range. you only get three games right off with two others immediately locked. Presumably you will get more games as you complete each level. You are required to score 20,000 or higher to unlock the next level which can be frustratingly overly complicated. There is a cutesy somewhat fun game where a character is stuck cartoon like in the dogs mouth and that entertained my 4 year old son for about five minuets. Other than that I can't recommend this game for adults or small kids. And honestly I don't see it being fun for anyone. The games are locked out, hard to control, really have no connection with the gamer, and overall it just isn't fun.

Ive played my fair share of "bad" wii games and ive played a lot of good wii games. This wii game is just wrong. This game shouldve never been released and i shouldve never played this game. Overall the 20 games in this game are pointless and dumb. I didnt even play all of them for two very big key reasons. First of all the graphics were just rediculously bad. Even for the wii which has so so graphics for even the best of games. Also this game is "kiddie" centered. So if your older than 10 you wont like this game. If you are just renting this game for a younger kid go ahead and rent it, they prouble wont notice how terribly it was put together. Even then, they might. If you do have a younger kid just play Wii Sports that came with your wii. Or rent Wii Play which is also quite fun. By now youve noticed by my review this game is terrible and i wont waste anymore of your time so just rent one of these games: Call of Duty World at War (Online is very good for that game), Mario Kart, and Mario Super Sluggers. Just try one of those games out and youll be fine for a while. But as for this game you shouldnt rent it and never ever should you buy this game.
