Blitz the league is a mix between snapping someone's spinal cord and football. The story is a team in the bottom of the conference loses the championship. After the massacre ends, the team is erased off the map and rebuilt. 1 star rookie is chosen and 1 veteran who is the team captain. A roster is constructed from the lowest of players. You now own this team. You design the uniform and logo the whole she-bang. Your job is the make the team work their way up the ladder to beat the new york nightmare in the 1st division. But the get there you have to beat every team in the 3rd and 2nd divisions and win the championships. On each team is one player who is very good. No, is awesome. And your other job is to make sure they dont control the game. Watch out for QB #7 Mexico, he is faster than lightning and hard to contain. Just like Vick. And also watch for those big hit where it shows an x-ray of the bones being broken. If it looks bad and you have a choice to inject fluids to get him all ready to play once more than do it. but if u let the other team get a big hit on your star he could be out for season. But the number one person to watch out for is Tito Maas. He will be on the first team, you play and will play you in the championship. He is a fast runner and has great hands. If you dont cover tight, "Your done, son" Before every new team you face there will be a video that tells you what to watch out for in each star on the other team. For story mode i personally give it a 9.8 out of 10 nearly perfect ownership feeling lifelike graphics and punishing hits that will leave you breathless. Considering Midways lack of reality this game also lacks much reality. My Scores:
Story Mode-9.8
Graphics-9
Replay Value-9.9
Multiplayer-8.9
Overall-9.4
