Blitz: The League II for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I played the origional PS Blitz all the time, it was wicked fun. This new version is like a lame madden. What made blitz fun was the huge cartoonish hits, and the after play dog piles. Blitz the league 2, has much smaller, more realistic tackles, you can't unleash the whole team on a dude after you tackle him. The play selection menu also sucks, there aren't very many plays and switching around can quickly set you up for disaster. The little movies of players breaking bones are gross and repetitive. And then when you have to play doctor, give me a break, if I wanted to play virtual nurse I'd pick up Wii surgery. Sometimes both teams are in white jerseys which sucks. Also, the controller configuration is messed up, A should be switch player. You can't change it so you're forced to learn some hand positions the we-todd-did (you can't use the regular spelling that's how lame gamefly is) developers thought would be good. Over all I'm very disappointed with this game, I wanted a fast easy to pick up and crush arcade style football game. It took me 2 gameless weeks to get this title, after one night I'm done playing.
