I've been a Bleach fan for years and have always wanted to play as Ichigo and the rest of the crew. I decided to try this game out and once I started..... I couldn't put it down. I played for three days straight before I beat the story. I do wish they would have included more of the characters. I can really appreciate the work that went into making it. The cell shading was perfect, no ghosting issues, and an easy control matrix to understand. I actually plan on buying this game for my personal collection.

Liked the game for a while until I realized the developers didn't put a checkpoint before the boss fights. Why didn't they? I don't know. You would think putting a checkpoint before the boss fight would be common sense. Sadly for the developers, I don't think they had any. You die in the boss fight, you start all over from the beginning. In simple terms, you fight across a stage for 10 minutes just to get back to the boss fight, only to be screwed in the end. Also, they gave Soi Fon the worst moves in the game against the most cheapest boss in the game. Still to this day, Bleach the 3rd Phantom remains the best Bleach game made.
Pretty good game. got bored quick though. The closest thing I can compare it to is Saint Seiya Senki (Sanctuary Battle). The moves and bankais are cool but I got bored quickly because there is no button to raise your "power". The other downside is that it appears to take forever to raise enough power to use your bankai. You can only raise your power by fighting or finding orbs unlike S.S. Senki where you can press and hold a button to charge but you can still find orbs. Overall it was a good cuz I like Bleach. I wouldn't recommend it unless you a huge fan.
