I love the anime but as far as the game goes it seemed too repetitive. And the character weren't as playable as they seem in the anime. Hitsugaya for example seemed to move far to slow which is one of my favorite characters and his main awesome attack in the series in which he fires the ice dragon from his sword was tiny and hardly noticeable unless you really looked for it. I loved the dynasty warriors series in which this game was replicated but it seemed to fall short of the endless hordes of victims I had mercilessly slayed in the dynasty warriors series. In conclusion this game is playable to a certain extent but not something I would recommend.

I love the anime series and was kind of sad when I watched the last episode. I decided to get to this as a reminder of anime. It is basically Dynasty Warriors in Bleach universe. Totally work btw. Combat was nice, ascetics were nice and in general the game felt good. I was thinking about giving it a 9 at the time.
Then Grimjaw fight came and it ended in under a minute. I am sorry but what the fudge? The fight in anime lasted over 3 episodes, if I remember correctly. This was supposed to be an epic fight and I basically 2 shotted him. After that I basically wanted to put down the game but decided to try Kenpachi on hard. The boss was against number 5, I think and he killed me. He 1 shotted me. At that point, I put the game back in the sleeve and mailed it back.
The whole point of anime was epic battles and this is something the game did not capture.
