This game was good but not one of the best fighter games I’ve played on the wii. I’m a big fan of the anime series and the English version has yet to make it up to where this game begins. The feel was a little like the fighting in twilight princess as well as the movement, which was good ,but not for a fighting game. Also for the first time I wish a fighting game had more then one round. Yes the story mode is 1 KO wins and it doesn’t take much to KO so be ready for death after death from Kenpachi. But if you want a good anime fighter give Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 a spin loved it.
Being the first good anime game, cry DBZ fants, for the Wii, it is not a bad game.
The controls are good, while loose and not precise, they are fluid and do seem like they belong to this game. They work well especially if your charachter is weilding a sword, like Ichigo, but the fist fighting, Chad and Inoue, seems a bit forced for obvious reasons.
Though I did not play the story all the way through, it seemed good, the voice acting was not on Par with the anime, but better than most Anime Video Games.
If you are a fan of the series, and dont mind getting a few things spoiled (unless you watched the dubbed version) then pick this up, play it and enjoy.
If you're not a fan, try it out, its got some good fighting, good graphics and some good two player fighting in there.
The Bleach game was very well done in terms of play style and how the different characters abilities were closely related to the series. The only downside that i saw was the voice over's, only because i have been watching the japanese series, but if you have been watching Bleach in America you will love this game. If you enjoy fast pace fighting games then this is a must buy, and it doesn't take very long to learn to play and is one of the first in game tutorial's that i have seen that really helps you learn how to do everything. Hope you all enjoyed this review, enjoy Bleach: Shattered Blade. (This was my first review)
