Don't be fooled by the new name, Blazblue is a Guilty Gear sequel. The characters might be slightly different (not so different though), and the setting may be new, but the gameplay is very familiar.
Now, that isn't necessarily a problem, as I like Guilty Gear, but besides prettying up the graphics, they really didn't change much.
My only real complaint is that on a normal sized TV, everything is kind of small, and it's difficult to make out fine details. They obviously had wide screen HD TVs in mind, which makes it a little difficult to play on anything else.
All in all, a good game, with a lot of depth, but not exactly anything new.

i really enjoyed playing BBCT, but i just could not seem to get into it. i really liked the style and everything but the computer was realy cheap at some times(e.g. doing the same move over and over until you die.) maybe its because i live in the middle of nowwhere with no xbl and could only play singleplayer, but this game did not WOW me as it does some people. but maybe all that is just my love for soul calibur coming out, idk.
