BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.....
I have played a very wide variety of fighting games ranging from Street Fighter to Tekken and Mortal Kombat to Dead or Alive and more but this has got to be one of the worst. The graphics are good as far as story cut scenes go (and thats all they are,cut scenes....as in pictures,no motion whats so ever just one picture for about 20 seconds of the story text) but when it comes to the actual fighting, the characters look 16-bit even on my 1080i HDTV.
The actual fighting isn't that great either, the controls are clunky and repetitive as far as combos go. each character has only about 10 moves and maybe just maybe 5 combos which gets old fast....very fast.
I know its a fighting game and isn't supposed to revolve around story line but you'd figure this game would have at least one thing good to offer, right? WRONG!!! You can only play about 40-50% of each character before having to do something else to unlock the other 50-60% which isn't worth playing.
And with only 10 characters in story mode and 12 in Arcade and Versus, playing a friend or the Comp. can get boring only after just several matches.
Also,if you want achievements, stay away from this game,i played it nonstop for a week and got maybe 100g...not because i suck at it its just so boring to get them and not worth the time......worst week ever...
I gave this game a 1 out of 10 only bcuz its not possible to give it a 0,this game got a lucky break.
