This game is top notch work. Bionic Commando, is based off a old retro console classic from back in the early days. Bionic Commando, is by far a very unique and different game. The controls are real easy, which that is, after you get the hang of the motion in grappling around. The game is SORTA like Spider Man games on how you swing, but the vertical and horizontal accent is what makes this game nothing like those spider man titles.
In Bionic Commando, you play as Nathan Spencer, a covert ops specialist, that is apart of a Military force that equips Bionic machinery to aid the soldiers threw their battles. Being a threat, these bionic soldiers, the military enforces condemn, imprisoning, and removing soldiers from the field who was armed with these Bionic tools. All accounted by the Government, that use of Bionic Weapons are not humane, or even human. Nathan, while a Ex Bionic Commando and now a prisoner, is given a chance to use his Bionic Arm again by the same people who stripped it from him, The Military. But, Nathan has to help the Military defeat these terrorist who has invaded, Ascension City.
I was really wanting a new sort of game that was just not average shooting, blow up stuff, but was plain fun. So I went out and bought this one, after I heard it had Multiplayer. This game is marvelous. The motion is very dynamic, smooth, and brilliant. The interface is the tricky part. Using every single angle to swing around too, takes getting use to. However, once you get use to what grappling angles will allow you to do fly, drop, jump, or even spin around objects, you soon realize, that this game is so well crafted and that there is no other game as cool as Bionic Commando. The graphics are very well composed and well rendered. With a 8 multiplayer deathmatch, Team deathmatch, and capture the flag, you will want to keep this one.
I never played any of them retro versions of this title on other consoles cause it looked wack. But I'm very impressed with this game.
