If you haven't bought this game day one or even rented it yet you are missing out on so much. There has been so much hype for this game after so many trailers, delays and just the fact that it's another Bioshock game. I can promise you this; fans and everyone will not be disappointed.
Presentation - You are Booker De Witt. A gun for hire to bring Elizabeth to New York for....well you learn for who and why at the end so that's all I'll say. This game presents gorgeous contrast and brightness even at the beginning when you're at the dark lighthouse. It starts reminding you of last years great Dishonored but with better everything.
Gameplay - Bioshock Infinite was worth the wait and hype with the skyhook put into the gameplay. You can now scale through the air on tracks with the skyhook equipped on your wrist and you can even jump off the track onto some one and kill them with the skyhook. The weapons are fun and original but they still just seem like normal Bioshock weapons and the only downside to this game is that even on the easiest difficulty there are parts that are too easy and then other parts that make you die 10 times in a row before you finally get past that part, but those are still just minor flaws.
The Verdict - Bioshock Infinite is, for the most part, the most original and fully realized Bioshock game so far. I give Bioshock Infinite 9.5/10.
The game play is still on par with previous installments of the series. The aiming seems to be slower and more clunky for some reason. The new Vigor's that take the place of the plasmids are unique how ever the controls for those have that same clunky feel to them as well. You can have a lot of fun with them though setting traps with them. Not as many side missions in the game it all seems to want to rocket you forward in the story till you get to the end. Visually the game is very pleasing and gives a 1900 steam punk ish feel to things. Over all design and lay out is awe inspiring. Still a solid game not too sure the if the story was as developed this time around.
