I was really impressed with the story line of this game. It runs about 14 hours, so longer than most.
I was not however a huge fan of the unrealistic guns which is why I only gave it an 8 instead of a perfect ten. The power ups were awesome, which in my opinion saved the game. Be sure to watch until the very end of the credits; there is a extra scene that kind of explains more of the story.

This was a great game with a great story. However, this is like Bioshock 1 in the sky. Gameplay wise there is nothing new. There are no choices you make which effects the game. You're fighting the same enemies the entire game. I'm being so picky because other critics treated this game like it is the best game this generation. To be honest, it is a very good game. You might play this game two times, but never more than that. I don't want to give any spoilers, but the ending will stay in your mind for a few days after completion. All in all, a great game, but nothing groundbreaking. Perfect rental.
I always enjoy new powers and I liked that you could use "vigor combinations" but in all the game didn't hold the wonder that the first two did. I did like the sky rails and I also liked having Elizabeth to open "tears" and pick locks, but when it was all said and done, I scratched my head and thought to myself, what the heck just happened. I didn't understand the ending at all. Although I enjoyed the game, I was expecting a lot more from the Bioshock series. I was in awe of the city underwater, but the city in the sky "Columbia" in this game had a lot to be desired, for me it just didn't have that same mystical wonder that the worlds in the first two games held. Definitely worth a rent, I wouldn't buy it though.
