I have played all three Bioshock games, and loved them all. But Infinite is no where near as much fun as the first Two. 1 and 2 both had so much more to do, like Tonics and Plasmids to U-Invent and gatherers Garden. I know it was in a earlier setting and it had to be different but someone's Imagination was out to lunch, don't get me wrong It's still a good game, but I miss the Little Sisters and the Big Daddies.
Brilliant story, challenging themes, and beautiful art design. The problem: Everything between the beginning and the end. This game should have been presented in a form similar to 'Heavy Rain.' Instead, incessant violence abounds for seemingly no reason that connects to the plot. Aside from the absurdity of the redundant violence within the narrative framework, the learning curve was non-existent and the gameplay cumbersome, to say nothing of the numerous reported bugs. I finished out the final level on easy to get it over with, something I usually wouldn't even consider. But the battle just seemed yet another inconsequential set piece, in this case difficult just for the sake of it, wedged between an engaging narrative. I had more fun navigating through the shocking twist in the last fifteen minutes than I did any of the hours of pointless shooting.
