This game is amazing. It is impossible for anyone to convey that to you without spoiling literally everything that makes this game amazing. Because let's face it; the Bioshock series has offered pretty simple combat with beautiful environments and hugely compelling stories and Infinite is no different
You will marvel at the beauty of the place while simultaneously telling yourself that it all seems like a rehash of Bioshock. And that is okay. Because it's fun to run around shooting electricity at people and shooting them at the same time even if you already did that in Bioshock. And yeah this game is shorter than Bioshock but it paces itself fairly well and there's plenty of in game story based content to explore and you really should spend some time doing that so that you can get the real winner. The story.
I can't ruin the story for anyone so I'm going to beg you to trust me on this, the story will absolutely not disappoint any fans of the series and it stays with you. I've played through twice and each time I learn something new and I get a little more involved. When I finished Bioshock I was blown away, but now that I finished Infinite I'm hungry for more. The thoughtfulness of the setting, the story, and all of the elements combined make this a fantastic experience and one that we severely need more of.
Added elements like gear, the well-known sky hook, and plenty of upgrades to your Vigors and weapons make for fun and interesting gameplay combinations. Upgrade weapons and play it like a shooter or upgrade Vigors and leave the guns behind. Upgrade weapons and Vigors and trick out your gear just right and you will feel like a BA while constantly being challenged.
Play the game, love the story, and play it again and again and unlock every secret and then play it again to see what you've missed until we get another installment in this franchise.
Fans should already own this game, anyone else should have it at the top of their queue.

Bioshock Infinite was many things. Creative. Intriguing. Just plain fun. This game remembers what it means to immerse the player in an exciting and believable world. Not only was the environment and gameplay satisfying, but the story and characters were some of the most creative I've ever seen, and these are the things that will stop you from putting the controller down. This game wraps the player in an emotion roller coaster and carries you through one of the best stories ever.
At times, the context of the story of objectives was unclear, but it soon came together as more was revealed. Moments like these could be confusing, but also left the player on the edge of their seat. I felt as though combat was downgraded from the second game, but still helped flow with new additions like the sky lines.
In the end, Bioshock Infinite was also one of the most memorable games of the decade, and carries all the way through to a satisfying and conclusive ending (something that many recent games have lacked). The story, environment, combat, and characters all blend together to make a fantastic game.
