Almost Perfect

I have been looking foward to playing Bioshock Infinite since at the end of 2011 when it was announced via 10 min long gameplay trailer and it's finallly here... and after playing the campaign through I was left mostly blown away by it. You play a detective named Booker Dewitt with the Pinkerton Agency tasked with finding a girl named Elizabeth and recovering her to erase some debt you owe. Rowing out to sea in a boat you are dropped off at a lighthouse by 2 individuals and at the top of the lighthouse you discover that Elizabeth is in the sky, lord, in the sky. The game is set in a floating collection of cities known as Columbia created by a man named Comstock who is somewhat like Andrew Ryan from the first Bioshock game. As in the first game Bioshock is a FPS with "magic" called tonics that can do everything from summoning a flock of crows to distract and damage your opponents to pulling enemies from afar with tentacles to creating a shield that protects you from gunfire. Instead of having a slew of weapons like the last Bioshock games you are limited to 2 weapons at a time which makes combat more tactical and makes upgrading said weapons more fun. I will tell you the first 1/2 of the game is a crazy Coney island amusement park thrill ride that stands alone singularly as one of the best experiences I've had in gaming in 34+ yrs, then the tone of the game changes and gets darker towards the latter 1/2 and the ending ultimately left me scratching my head (I understand what happened but I think Ken Levine should have kept the amusement park feel instead of Lost). All in all a great game and definately one of the better ones of this generation. Take your time and look around with this one...Columbia is a beautiful place and Elizabeth will charm your pants off. Peace

To Infinate & Beyond

From sparkling underwater atmosphere of Bioshock 2 to the cloud hoping world on infinate, Bioshock never seems to disappoint. With a new arsenal of weapons and powers, this latest installment takes you to the skies.

Incredible gameplay to unbelievable graphics, Infinate is by far another great contender for game of the year. Despite the several moments of the storyline that seem a bit repetative that is just a minor fault that easily overlooked by the capablity of interacting with the environment.

overall - this is game a definate BUY and a great addition to anyone's collection.
