as a fan of the entire series it felt refreshing to play this through. the games story does have similarities to bioshock 2 but just like a good magic trick a great story cant be told well unless it is delivered to the audience in a clever way like this game managed to do and will do in the many repeat playthroughs.
pc play is definitely worth it to get the graphics to look as good as they can.
Ok, so I've never played a Bioshock game before but i played this one.
All in all its a great game. The ending is very dramatic, im not gonna blow it for ya, Hard to keep up with as far as the story line goes towards the end. The weapons are ok could of been better IMO. The Perks or Salts whatever you want to call them are awesome. The game itself was very short i beat it in 2 days about 8 hours of play time although i did no side missions. Great game sometimes difficult...After you beat the game you unlock a "1999 mode" which is supposedly for only the best of the best gamers. Would of gave a 10 but story was short and a little confusing.

Well for the most part, this video game serves as a great demonstration of artistic quality and sturdy build in regards to what a game should be. However, the story could have been better.
It seemed like the cinematic events that unfolded were expanded at a slow rate from beginning to the near end. When it was time to revel in the final moments of the game's ending, most of us were left scratching our heads in confusion, then later forced to look up spoilers to understand the events better.
Bioshock 1 was a great example of how a story should be. Simple, understandable, shocking, exhilarating, and embedded into our minds and geeking out about it for years to come. Bioshock Infinite missed its mark story wise.
Other than that, it's a definite rental or purchase.
