Bring Us the Girl and Wipe Away the Debt

"Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt." Probably one of the most well known quotes in this masterpiece of a game known as Bioshock Infinite. The year is 1912, approximately 50 years before the events of the first Bioshock. Instead of a city underwater you are in a city in the sky called Columbia. You play Booker Dewitt, a former Pinkerton agent who is serious debt after gambling and drinking. The loan sharks have agreed to wipe away his debt in return for bringing them a girl from the city of Columbia, which brings up the famous quote. The woman's name is Elizabeth and she has an interesting power. The abililty to open tears that take you to different realities and take out of them what ever she wants. The main goal is to escape Columbia from the prophet known as Father Comstock safely and wipe away the debt.
The gameplay is very similar to the first Bioshock except instead of adam and eve you use vigors and salts. You also have different powers compared to the first ones. My favorite is possession. You can also only carry two guns at a time. You use vendors to upgrade now so save up on money. The AI has gotten smarter and A LOT tougher since the first two Bioshocks. The best part of the gameplay is Elizabeth. She can give you health, ammo, salts, and even money whenever you need them. She can also use her powers to help you out such summon turrets, create defenses, and even summon weapons and health packs. She is amazing! Also if you're up for a challenge, they've added 1999 mode which is the hardest difficulty in the game. In fact an achievement in the game is to beat 1999 mode without buying anything from a dollar bill vendor, which gives health, ammo, and salts.
This game is amazing. I can't get enough of it. The only problem I have with this game is that it's too short. I wish they could've made it longer. Also the story is amazing. I was blown away by the ending. I couldn't sleep that night. Game of the Year right here. Just incredible.

Most gripping game i have ever played

Bioshock Infinite is the most gripping game i have ever played. It is, for the most part, the best setting in gaming. It is better than Half Life because, for one, it's Flying America; come on, Flying America! They worship a guy named Comstock and believe that America is heaven. It's so pretty, it's next gen. And the game has characters, not audio logs -- people who smile with human emotion and have animations. And Elizabeth, she is helpful in combat, and when she reacts to the world around her, you just shout, GAME OF THE YEAR 2013! At least I did. Also gameplay: less backtracking, more exploring new things. Combat is better than any Bioshock ever. The guns feel like guns and have a bit more recoil, and vigors (the new plazmids) are more fun to use -- like bucking bronco, which launches your enemies into the air. I'm sorry about the quality of this review but this is my first review and thank you for reading it. I give this game a nine out ten.
