This is a beautifully rendered game. I use the term loosely. This title is on rigid rails. So much so that at times all the player has to do is push forward and the games turns Jodie on its own. It is a brilliant story, well acted, and visually stunning, but this is more of an interactive movie. If you consider hitting a button every couple of minutes interactive. At times, after a whole lot of doing nothing the programmers got together and decided to figure out how they could make the player hit and hold every button on the controller at once. As if that makes up for an hour of single button single analog action. To be fair that is an exaggeration but that is how I fealt most of the time. The camera angles are great for cinematic presentation but terrible for trying to navigate. It is easier to look around as Aiden than it is as Jodie. Bottom line is that it’s worth a rent and play through for the story alone. I would not buy it nor would I suggest anyone else buy it. Replay value, for me, is non-existent. There is no way I’ll play it through again. Not for trophy hunting or for the other endings. I give it a seven but I think that's overly generous. So consider my seven a six and a half.
The graphics are amazing and the storytelling is unbelievable. Along with the many options and alternate endings, the storytelling became a key to this game which made me want to keep playing. Even though the controls take a while to get use to, it is overall a great game!
It's a very interesting story, the graphics are great.
But the controls were clunky. The way you went through the game was very linear (or linear feeling). Getting from A to B was very slow paced, so I didn't feel like playing through the story again to make different choices.
Because I didn't enjoy the story mechanics I didn't bother to get the multiplayer.
