I remember it receiving "Most Underrated Game of the Year" award from the Playstation magazine I subscribed to, so a friend lent me her copy.
Fantastic graphics, all kinds of different campaigns to complete in order to FULLY finish the game (stealth, racing, puzzle-solving, or just all out beating the souls out of monsters). Plus, a storyline that is the opposite of boring, although not outright original.
Beyond Good and Evil is a very good comic sort of game. I was pretty skeptical before I rented it, but it turned out to be way better than I thought. You have to protect your city from the invaders trying to take it over. But not by fighting, by taking pictures of the so called army that has double crossed you. The graphics are still pretty good, even after about 3 years since it's release. The game play is good, although the camera angles will get screwy once in a while. You can also take pictures of the animals in the game also for some extra money. The game is an open world so you can go where ever you want. It's a short game so you can finish it in a weekend or maybe even a day. I recommend this game to anybody that likes action adventures.

You've probably heard about this game, how good it is, how great the story is, so when I found a copy for 4 bucks at my used book/game store... and I think I was overcharged. The gameplay itself is buggy, theres a glitch where background music cuts out, at the start screen theres a glitch where the moving noise is repeated endlessly, and it doesn't really feel like a game, it feels more like a tech demo sold as a game. If you can rent it fine, but don't break the bank trying to get a copy.
