... this wacky kind of a game but I couldn't. It's fun and challenging for about 15 minutes then you realize that your just bored and the only reason you are trying to enjoy it is because you heard about it from some knucklehead that said it was "so cool!" and it's the new game you have at the moment. The record scratching for the kings voice gets so annoying after about 2 minutes and I love scratching.

I have been a dedicated katamari player since a friend brought over the first game before it caught on. I love rolling things up, I'll admit.
I thought this game was a bit short, especially compared to the first two games.
We played it through in under a day, as experienced katamari rollers. However, if you're new to the series, you might get more enjoyment out of it than that, and definitely if you are a collector, since they have a lot more presents and cousins this time around.
The gameplay mechanics on the 360 are greatly improved. Getting stuck is less frequent and the katamari is more responsive. The graphics are smooth and noticably improved from earlier installments.
The last level is loads of fun. Let's just say your katamari's width gets into the 10-500k kilometers.
It's definitely worth a rent, for anyone. It's not worth a buy unless you're really dedicated.
