i enjoyed playing this game. i could 't wait to get home from work to kick some butt. as a mom of 3 kids, this game was a good way to keep them sitting in there chain for an hour or so as i played. i recommend this game for any first time gamer chicks that are out there. the story line is good and it keeps you coming back for more.
I have played Bayonetta twice and just could not get into it. I had read reviews about how it is similar to Devil May Cry, but with smoother fighting and graphics. Even with those saving graces I just did not care for it.
This is purely an opinionated review in regards to the game play. I am not really into the hack and slash games and this just felt like a more refined version of that. The graphics were beautiful and the flow of the fighting was incredible, but without a good story and supporting characters I lost interest really quickly.
It may have just been me, but the targeting system was horrible, half of the time I was kicking and punching air and sometimes the camera would just go where it wanted to making it difficult to know what to do.
I gave this a 7 although I did not care for it because from a gamer standpoint, someone that likes this type of game will fall in love with it, but for me it just was not my cup of tea.
I'm not much for combat combo games, but I thought this one was pretty good. Bayonetta is very easy on the eyes and will quickly replace Ruby Malone as your favorite Xbox brawler. Sent this back with plenty of replay value still on the table mostly because it's not my type of game.
