I rented this game and figured it would be a fun hack/slash game. I like those every once in a while to give a change to my usual FPS games. But good grief this game sucks.
The graphics are last gen at best, the gameplay is all over the place and clunky even for a Hack/Slash. The story and cutscenes are pointless and don't translate well because I would spend most of the time trying to figure out what was going on. The cutscenes are also long and pretty much a knock off of some anime movies.
I didn't last long in this game. It shows a little tease of nudity to try and keep you interested, but unless you are a young kid with no access to the internet, then maybe this can be a selling point for you.
All in all, it only took me 20 minutes to think, "Do I really want to spend hours playing this game that I am hating right off the start?"
I would only recommend this game to someone who loves japanese anime craziness, stories that make little sense, and a poorly made button masher where battles devolve into a big mess of confusing spectacle. Also, you have to be desperately desiring to see the side of a boob of some poorly rendered video game girl.

Bayonetta has to be one of the most well formed games i have played. This is inventive along the lines of god of war. Some of the dancing gets annoying at times but other than that a good mix of combos and weapons. This game makes you think as a player and does not allow you to button mash and be successful. The fighting style makes you pay attention to the entire way through. It was a very enjoyable game and would recommend that anyone that likes video games to play this game.
