Battlestations: Midway for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I have been excited about this game since I heard about its release on the original Xbox. When I ripped open the package and finally started playing it, I thought I was going to give it an 8. Then, about halfway through, I'm doing yet another torpedo run. I'd rather do something else but, it's ineffective. The developers could have at least put another effective way to deal with ships instead of torpedoes. That's all you'll be doing when an enemy ship comes after you. Sending up waves of torpedo planes, or shooting them with torpedoes from a ship. There is just not enough variety in the game. I'm glad they put a game mode where your a submarine captain, because when you get one in the single player game, you probably won't be able to get it in range. But a few extra game modes isn't enough to save this game. All vehicles handle un realistically. The graphics could've been better. The story is tacked-on. The voice acting is comical and the game falls apart halfway through.
