Battlefield Bad Company brought forth some new dimensions to shooter games. The destructable maps are a big step for first-person shooters and I'm sure will now be incorporated with future games. The storyline for the single player mode in BBC is somewhat corny and the dialogue is annoying. This game is definetly meant for multiplayer because like other Battlefield games, multiple players can drive vehicles to lead attacks on the opposition. The graphics are a little too cartoony for me. Comparing this game to Call of Duty 4 is not applicable. Call of Duty 4 is on a completely different level regarding graphics and overall gameplay.
I think this game is along the lines of COD$ and the like 1st person shooters. A little less realism as far as combat goes. But that little down fall is made up by the comedy factor. Your are in a group that has messed up as some point along their military career and it's quite entertaining to listen to their comentary in the backgound when walking from one location to the next or during the cut scenes. The game was a little short, as almost all 1st person shooters are, but overall it was a fun game and the online is a lot of fun as well.
