I really liked Battlefield Bad Company 1. It was a great shooter with awesome campaign and fun multiplayer. This game has that and some extra goodies. First off, the campaign has a deep story and its fun to play. Many of the missions are unique aswell and keep the game fresh. It is singleplayer still and it seems like a waste since you have 4 people with you practically at all times. It really shouldve had coop. The graphics are good. The multiplayer is good as usual. It has new vehicles, game modes, and weapons. The multiplayer maps are pretty nice aswell. FYI: Inside the case for this game is a VIP code that unlocks 2 multiplayer maps. Which is a nice bonus if you buy it either new or from GameFly. You dont get the VIP code while youre renting it from GameFly, but if you buy it from them, itll have the code and itll work fine.
I can’t say anything about the campaign mode, but the multiplayer is a ton of fun. It’s different from CODMWII making them good alternatives for a change of pace. T
he online runs smooth as well as the game play. Only three or four modes though, I wish they had more. The graphics and the interactive environments make for a real rush. The upgrades are good and the controls are common sense. I put the game in and about 2.5 seconds later I was very comfortable.
Usually, I’m not a fan of the vehicles being in the online games but it works very well. The sound effects are perfect, different sounds for each caliber and model. I give online a 9.5. Like I said I have no review for the single player but online play is well worth the $60 bones for a shooter.
The game play is similar to MAG and I personally dont care for first person shooters anymore. The games are all the same. However this game is alot slower than MAG and COD MW2. Which can be a Positive. I personally think that video games are lacking creativity when it comes to the same old first person shooter. They need to make another awesome THIRD PERSON SHOOTER ie. Socom 2. Anything along the lines of a Socom style based game would ROCK
