I am definitely someone that plays games for the story campaign and not the multiplayer, so my rating is strictly for story mode. I liked battlefield 4 but felt the story was very lackluster and rushed in a sense. The controls were decent and just wished you could change the default layout more so than they allowed. The graphics were great and the realistic view of battle was nicely done. However, I like COD better for the storyline alone because I really want to immerse myself in the game while I am playing. I think battlefield 4 is a good rent but not a must buy in my book...unless you multi play which I assume is what all the rave is about!
I am not one of those guys that gives games a ten rating just cause I liked it. In fact if there was a 9.5 I woukd have given it that instead. Because BF4 IS THAT CLOSE to absolute perfection. The only complaint I ever had was the campaign erasing my data. If it weren't for that, then this is flawless. It is truly one of the greatest multi player experiences you will ever have. I don't remember a game in quite awhile that I coukd put in 150 hours and still not get sick of it
