It was exciting to see a contender for the title of best FPS and this is what I feel Battlefield 3 is. Let me take you back to the time of 2004, when Halo ruled FPS. The time period was grand! But, eventual ly a few years pass and a new way of gaming was introduced in the form of the "Call of Duty : Modern Warfare" series. The impact was unexpected , like being Snuck, punched unexpectedly, and what a Difference! Not to be undercut, the RAINBOW6 series was AMAZING. But now we find MW as the reigning champ and respectfully so, MW earned respect in the FPS ring. Gaining plenty of points with myself and others MW had it all, until Battlefield 3 comes along. Now granted MW has a better storyline BUT BF3 has the better multiplayer. The feeling you will receive after playing BF3 multiplayer is Victorious! Going on to the BATTLEFIELD, will have you feeling like a warrior who has gotten in the ring and ... WON.
Game overall graphic of each are was good. Only problem with graphics was that the detail of what surrounded you felt blurred to the amount of what you saw. I also didn't care for the gameplay, use of weapons and sighting, and the darkness that was almost flat black taking out details. They put alot of good ideas into this game-example the airfight-but i felt constricted as to what I could do and this was almost always the case
I was really excited to receive the game from gamefly so close to the release date, but when I recieved the game and started to play I clicked "multiplayer" to find that I had to pay a rediculous "online fee" of $9.99. Supposidly when you purchase the game it comes with a code that you just slap in there, but otherwise if you trade a game for BF3 or buy it from someone else etc you'd have to purchase the online code from Dice/EA or w/e. Otherwise, the single player was really good, I however found it rather short of a game and dissapointing. But take away all of what I said and I would still recommend this game, I would never buy it personally due to the stupid fee for online gameplay but yeah, just my two sence.
