The opening of the game started with an intriguing story of space colonization and later disaster, setting the game up for a space adventure. What we get instead is a half-baked one on one boxing game with robots. And no, I'm not exaggerating, that's all there is. The game play is only one on one as you travel from location to location fighting other robots in a sort of gladiatorial arena style combat. As cool as that may sound, once you figure out your opponent's movements, the game play is pretty dull. At least the locations look good...though they are pretty small. The controls are awkward and glitchy -- this is unforgivable given the Wii probably has the best controller of any platform in gaming history. Everything that happens between arena matches is again, half-baked. This game could have earned some points by at least having some sort of story and good animation sequences between game play but instead we get terrible dialog with thumbnails of concept art...something just really feels unfinished about this game. Concept art is great...but you usually use that as unlocks, NOT as the main course! There is an option to play online but I don't know who would want to. The robots at least look good...but that is what is ultimately disappointing about this title. Great potential for a sci-fi shooter hit but instead a terribly failing dud.
