Read: If you like arcade mech/flight sims, and you love challenging games (very hard), deffinately check this game out.

I love how this game challenges the whits of the player. You cannot just didddle daddle around in missions. The battles are huge, tons of enemies step up to the plate, and its up to you to cleverly complete mission objectives.

This game plays like a first person Gun Metal (its another mech game...). At its core, your mech has a hybrid Energy Sheild. This energy sustains your sheilds as well as provides energy for plasma weapons and flight ability. If you unleash hordes of energy weapons, prepare to die, your hull will be exposed to damage. Players must balance using plasma and bullet fire weapons. Especially if you are flying. Flying your mech uses up energy, thus unleashing plasma weapons in flight mode wastes flying time. Your energy sheild does regenerate, but if you are getting hit by enemy gun fire, it will lose regernated energy for every hit.

At first this game seems very straightforward, but as the missions quickly become challenging, the player will need to recognize and execute good strategy. You will need to learn from failed mission strategies in this game as you will most likely fail the first time you try the later missions. Whatever you do, do not ignore bombers in this game :).

While this game is similar to other games, the games style, and direction are unique enough to warrant a rent or buy. Good luck finding a copy to buy though, this game had a limited print run :).

Actually a really good game. I wasn't expecting too much but it really delivered on a number of levels.

You are the pilot of the battle engine Aquila. You have the ability to walk and fly with different weapons available in each mode. The primary objective is to fight off the bad guys forces on various fronts. The war is broken down into a number of levels with a specific objective for each level. The objective must be completed in order to progress. You also get "graded" on your skill in completing the level.

Both sides have air-borne fighters and bombers, ground-based "tanks" and other machines. There's also individual infantry which can be somewhat troublesome at times.

A few different configurations of ground and air weapons (and various strengths) become available in later levels. Switching modes is simple and cycling through weapons is smooth and ammunition levels are appropriate. Weapons automatically upgrade every once in while.

Flying is limited and you need to land every once in a while to re-energize but it's great fun taking things out from both land and air.

For each level you get to pick which Aquila configuration to use and which AI support option you want (one is stronger on the ground, one stronger in the air, and one balanced). The challenge is to pick a good combination and figure out a good strategy for completing the level.

Overall I thought it was a great mix of blowing things up with a bit of strategy.

this game will only be interesting if you have nothing else to do and your drunk so really dont wast your time and just give it a low rating because it deserves it

i thought this game would be awsome but it sucks, if something was that huge it would have more than 1 lazer gun 2 weak vulcan cannons and a small grenade launcher, and you can only fly for about 1 min because you "run out of energy" that instantly regenerates when you land

even though your robot you polit is huge it has the potency of a over armed jeep!!!!!

skip this game and go get something interesting!!!
