Levels are hard alone, but together its easy!

My husband started playing by himself through the story mode and found it very difficult, night wing had the same moves as Bat Man, and Robin talked a lot of trash in this game but had the same moves as bat girl. Every time you won a round it was very frustrating because they really didn't give you enough points to buy what you needed(I.E. Moves)But when I decided to play co-op it was actually way too easy, we went all the way to fight against Sin Tzu, all in 2 hours!!. All in all it was a very good game, just that maybe we were missing something.?
