I have always been a Batman fan from the beginning. My parents loved watching the old episodes on TV Land and all that stuff. Many people share the same views on a game as they do with a movie...simply stated.."The second one is never as good as the first one. The third one is never as good as the second (and so on)" This game shatters that statement to pieces...I say that this game has the makings of a "Player's Choice" title in next to no time.

Good Stuff::)
This fighting style is great. The "fear factor" as I like to call it also makes this a great game. The ability to use your enemy's fear against them is totally cool. Last but not least the graphics are VERY GOOD. I would even say some of the greatest Graphics I have seen for the GC. Believe me I have seen my share of GC games.

Bad Stuff: :(
Every great game has at least ONE thing you don't like. Just like the movies. The only complaint I can even think of is the camera. Sometimes it moves a little too much but The good definitely overshadows the bad!

The best movie in the series becomes the best game in the series in batman begins. A unique approach to gameplay makes this a solid game.

Pros:
Able to "scare" your enemies and use their fear against them.
Cool fighting system.
Get to drive that awesome prototype batmobile.

Cons:
Slower paced.
Confusing objectives.
Linear gameplay.

This game is a "Superhero Splinter Cell" as I like to call it. It is a Batman game (obviously), but you have to use your stealth and your smarts to get through this game. I liked the thought of a superhero where he didn't just go and burst through the window and murder everyone, but instead, he uses his optic cable to see under the door, and sees his enemies are facing the other way, so he opens the door quietly and throws his Batarang at something to distract them. THEN he goes in and murders them when they are not looking. The fighting system in this game is unique. You have the punch button and the kick button, then you have the special button. I won't go into detail, but when you play the game you will find out. Anyway, this game was overall a very good game. I give it and 8 out of 10.
