i played the first batman, it was a wonderful because I loved batman the animated series so their voices helped a lot. but if it didn't, it would still sell the action packed game. but since im talking about origins, it's somewhat different. it shows how batman started out the first night, gameplay might be slow in the beginning to bring the climax later. A new twist to origins is that it brought in some villians that never received credit compared to the crazy, colorful movie villians that might've been overkilled. but theres only two villians I wished I saw more; 1) joker (obviously) and 2) the mad hatter. but villians like deathstroke and bane was worth the fight. but some bosses were too easy to beat (wont say who) -_- with gameplay, it seemed like the 1st one I played, a lot of hitting and beating a lot of baddies (maybe too much). I wished there were more game strategy to this one but it wont leave you saying, "I hate this," and throw the controller. it does keep you in the story and there are some surprises. the length of the game, it just feels like a side mission you ordered online. it's short, compared to the other two. sad to say, its missing the batman TAS voices, :-( it was the icing of the cake in the series. im not saying they did a horrible job, they did great so it was acceptable to overlook the choices. it's hard to forget them. with the graphics, it's the same as the past, scenes might have a misty feeling so it gives a bleak outlook of gotham. overall, this games a overlooked first night of batman's promise to save others from the same. the game is keeps you playing but not enough to top its' predecessor. if you played the other two, play this :-) if you didn't, play the 1st one, that one will lead to a series that broke typical comic book game.
