This is basically Batman meets Metroidvania, so it's got that going for it. It's a decent rental since the game itself can be knocked out in about 8 hours (which is short).
But the environments are pretty drab overall - there's not that much of a difference from one building to the next so the game gets a little monotonous.
The fighting is pointless (combos mean nothing) and you don't get combat upgrades like the other Batman games.
The gadget upgrades you collect are OK I guess, but it's a beating to have to retread the entire game in order to figure out where secrets lie.
Also, the map is one of the worst maps in any video game I've played. The indicator just shows a flat map from an aerial view - it doesn't show floors, so getting from one room to the next is never as easy as it might appear.
The boss fights aren't that clever and are kind of a pain.
