I really enjoyed this dark take on a Batman game. The Joker is superb and Batman is actually cool. I liked the free reign type of gaming and the Riddler's extra's to collect were entertaining. Also the combat is fun, watching Batman jump around kicking A and getting combo's is very satisfying! The only reason I didn't give this a 10 were the detective mode, great to finding enemy's etc but you have to rely on it alot so you end up missing the scenery and you just don't get to enjoy the ambient areas as your constantly having to turn it on to proceed. Also I found finding your way around frustrating as it' not completely clear the direction you should be taking and the back tracking is annoying as there is nothing to ease your pain on the way back ie lots of kicking A or a different route so that go old really quick. Over all great game and looking forward to playing Arkham City!

Whatever fun you might have playing this game can be automatically ruined by the terrible autosave system. I was at the final fight after getting most of the achievements of the game when I took a break. When I tried to play again, the game told me my save was corrupt and that I had to delete it. There was no other option, and because the terrible autosave option only overwrites itself in a single slot, there was no backup save to return to. I wish I'd never played this game now.
