Interesting yet lacking...

Maybe it's just me, but my time in front of the console is meant as a form of relaxation, a journey through some interactive entertainment.
Baroque is a failed attempt at a unique means of content delivery. In this game you die, you die ALL THE TIME. And through death more story is revealed.
I'll admit that my first few trips into the Neuro Tower (the only locale in the game really), were full of excitement as I encountered new tibits of story (be them disconnected and not really understandable). But then after about 4 trips in, there is no more..just this vague sense of the fact that you need to get further in. However there is the rub, it's really hard to get any further in and without a real motivator to do it, I didn't.
So yeah, I never even got past the first part of the story arc in the game. I doubt you will either.
Recommended to those whole enjoy laborious dungeon crawls. Everyone else, stay away.
