Ok first off this review is coming from a hardcore gaming Mom. I play mostly PC games like Age of Conan so needless to say I am usually very unsatisfied with console games. This game is actually addictive, me & my 5 yr old daughter have been playing this together every night. There is alot to explore & do. The graphics are great & horse racing feels very authentic. I love all the quests you can pick up & actually got stumped on a few! Also unlike other games this one actually talks so you don't HAVE to know how to read to play. The only drawback is the controls can be a bit tricky for a 5 yr old when she gets stuck in a small area she has a hard time turning her horse around & such. But it's NOT a gamebreaker for sure. Don't be turned off by the Barbie title. They seem to have put alot of thought in this game & is not thrown together like so many other kids games. This is the longest rental I have kept so far. Usually me & my daughter are so annoyed & frustrated with console games that we turn around & put them back in the mail within a day. Not so with Barbie horseriding, we love it!
