Movie Description
Baseball has rules. Meet the exceptions. The Bears are bad at baseball. Really bad. So bad, in fact, that they're about to be bounced from their league. Straight-laced lawyer Liz Whitewood (Marcia Gay Harden) hires former major leaguer (and current pest-removal expert/alcoholic) Morris Buttermaker (Billy Bob Thornton) to shape the team of 12 misfits into a champion. In order to win, the Bears will have to overcome their hated rivals, none other than the dreaded Yankees, who are lead by their overbearing coach (Greg Kinnear). The team's screwball antics highlight this update of the irreverent 1976 Little League comedy classic.
