Fun Cross-Console Effort

a fun game for fans of the show, if nothing else.

story oriented. character driven.
some customizations found in the gear you equip.

for the most part, exploration and questing are the gears at work in this title. it doesnt rise far a companion to the television series, but puts the groundwork to work - and does so well.

its unassuming of any previous gaming skills you might hold in esteem, but that goes hand in hand with being a lil repetitive. though, being easy to pick up, makes it easy to pick up later on - (not with friends). i played alone without trouble..

the questing is at your discretion, and can prove worthwhile to complete. especially in that it moves the story at as even a pace as you complete each. but it wouldve been made alot more encouraging to have some co-op play. still, having (eventually) 4 players to switch to and from keeps things fresh.

decent story, fun characters, w/ beat-em-up and RPG offerings - its a very solid title, with extensive play. singularly effective, just missing the full fledged co-op. worth a playthru or 2.

Personally i think the game could have been better. But with what they showed me i liked it. I thought it did a good job of capturing the characters personalities and powers. I would rent it if you like the show, but it is pretty short.

Hampered by such a weak control structure. It is a game in the vein of Racket and Clank right? Maybe Jack and Daxter?

So why can't you jump?! If they only included platforming the game would of been great. The other controls gave the 7 rating. That extra bit on jumping would've given it two more.
