You can tell that the makers of this game did not take their time with it at all. It does a decent job portraying the characters and locations and, at first glance, has a nice arrangement of powers. But after playing the game a bit you find that many of the powers have generally the same effect. The fighting itself can be enjoyable but a lot of the missions just feel redundant after a few chapters into the game. If these were the only problems, I'd still recommend it for fans of the show. But the game also glitches and makes it impossible to move forward. One time a ball I needed to find wouldn't appear and I had to restar the system twice before it came back...another time, however, a glitch required me to start the game over ENTIRELY and I was over half way through. I gave up on it then...
The storyline is pretty cool, but it doesn't stick to the show as much as it should. graphics and game play are above average, but it could be better. Also you can only use air bending moves in this one. there better be some sequels to redeem this game. Overall it is pretty whack, but if you are a fan of the show, then you should at least try this game.
I don't know why they went through making this game. It was not thought out long enough and was definitely a disappointment with the graphics and game play. If you love Avatar, you might think about renting it but don't waste your money on this failure.
