Avatar was just OK. It has a lot of the boring do little tasks to build up points to make characters stronger/more effective or earn money to buy items to keep you alive longer. The user interphase was simple, and the storyline is based on the TV show so it will appeal to fans of the show. The program does have some annoying issues or glitches, no camera view movement, a LOT of tasks to complete on each level, all talking is done in text boxes, and the sound FX could be better... but it had no cheat codes to let run through the game without having to fight all those boring battles with wolves, crazy monkeys, thugs, and machines around the game. I was disappointed that the Avatar could only air bend, even when he finally went into the Avatar state. Kids who are fans of the show will enjoy it, and it should consume quite a bit of their time so it's be good for a long trip.
I thought this game was going to be really fun and I almost bought it. This is a pretty fun game at the start but then it just gets annoying and I got lost more times then I can count. You are asked to do stupid tasks like go kill these ragging monkeys that are almost immpossible to kill. Easy controlls but overall just not fun. RENT IF YOU WANT
