Game Description

Life is an open book in this tale of destiny from the makers of Harvest Moon and Rune Factory. You wake from a recurring dream to find a blank book on your desk. A spirit rises from the book, calling on you to take a journey and write the story the pages will hold. Collect information on monsters to fill the pages. Shape your story using the Book of Destiny to modify rules during battle, change weapon attributes, and shift the characteristics of monsters. Alter the storyline by picking a male or female character, then win friends, make enemies, and fall in love as you either save or destroy the world.

Avalon Code for the DS has a lot of good things going for it, but it falls short in the areas where it counts.
