Audioslave, the combination of former Soundgarden lead singer Chris Cornell and the musicians from Rage Against the Machine, has proven to be as potent as fans had anticipated. The group has made noise by releasing a pair of powerhouse albums, 2003's multi-platinum self-titled debut and 2005's chart-topping Out of Exile, which have spawned hits including "Cochise," "I am the Highway," "Be Yourself," and "Doesn't Remind Me." Audioslave made history in 2005 when it became the first American band to conquer a trade embargo and play a concert on the island of Cuba, pounding out an epic one-and-a-half hour show in front of 60,000 fans.
