10 out of 10... If you love the music and story play this is right game for you. even know each of these games don't stay with the story line it still really good game. This game took me 2 weeks to beat because of all farming stuff you need to get certain items to be made.

Atlier iris 2:the azoth of destiny was a good game diffrenet from any other rpg i've ever player although the alchemy was a little annoying at times i didn't mind. Also i didn't like the fact that you had to make your weapons instead of buying them,i had trouble with some part's on the count of some things were'nt that explained in my opinion. The battle system was some what unique using items you made in battle, and some bosses were either hard as heck or easy as can be but over all was still a good game.

Very Good

Instant recommend for all JRPG fans

For anyone who's ever enjoyed an JRPG title, this game's a very easy recommend.

GAMEPLAY
It adheres to the traditions of the genre fairly tightly, so the differences are only found in sub-systems and execution. However, it is very polished, and some of the subsystems make for a smoother gameplay experience (like a meter indicating when your next "random encounter" will be, as well as a set limit of encounters per area).

GRAPHICS
A lot better than this studio Gust's prior release, these graphics are fairly nice to look at. What's more is the character portraits are high rez and very gorgeous, and the rapid-camera-zoom that the prior titles have had has been greatly reduced (though it still exists to an extent).

STORY
While it starts off seeming like it's typical JRPG fair (world's in danger and a summoned hero from a higher realm comes down to save the day with a magic talking sword), there are a couple things this game does that really sets it apart.
- The characters are far more believable than any other RPG I've played as of late. Their own dialogue and interactions with each other just feels more natural than most.
- The story is told almost entirely from the strict vantage point of the summoned character. Additionally it takes its time to build up the setting and gives you a solid feel for the character and what he has to leave behind to help the normal world that he's summoned to. Given the first point it's actually a story that keeps me interested because I actually care about the characters ... which is saying a lot coming from me.

So yeah, if you've enjoyed any JRPG games, there's about a 90% chance you'll really like this.
