I don't like long cut-scenes. But I liked the long cut-scenes in this game. I hate quick-time button inputs during cut-scenes. But I did not mind them at all in this game. Sometimes the style of modern Japanese games gives me the creeps, but I will remember this game for how cool the style was (even though the creepyness is right there plain to see, it's somehow ok). On paper this game should suck. But it is paradoxically pretty darn cool. Am I glad I did not pay 60 bucks for Asura's Wrath? Yes. But I am even more glad I rented it. I do not think a sequel would be wise, but I would look forward to a spiritual successor from Capcom in this unique genre they have invented and of which this game so far is the only example. Tip: Try playing it in Japanese voice with English subs.
This game is just plain awesome. If you or a loved one are a big fan of anime then Asuras wrath is for you. The cut scenes and action sequences are over the top, and plays out in a unique way. Each level starts out like an anime eposide with credits at the beginning and A preview of what happens the next level with an annoucer. the game play is also unique in the way that the object is not to k.o your opponets by depleting there health bar but to raise the burst meter and defeat them in a cutscene. the cutscenes are also unique in the way that they are interactive they make you press a button evertime asura is about to punch or use the control stick to doge. also there is a nice little bounus dlc where you fight the street fighters. My only complaint is that you had to buy the ending it's forgivable because the ending is worthwhile but I hope capcom and any other developer never does that again. Other then that it was a masterpeice in my opinion

I just beat it, and It has the be the most epic game i've played. The story is amazing...... no amazing can't define it enough....... Orgasmic, a work of pure literary story telling genius, a work of a higher being, all these terms can define this game. It feels like a dang ANIME! i kept saying that to myself through out the campaign. IT DESERVES A 10!
