Good to start the series!

If you're planning on playing the whole series, then this is a must play. Although there are some things that make the game bad and unpleasing.
The Good:
+Interesting story.
+Fun mechanics (as in character moves)
The Bad:
-Gameplay is repetitive
-Sometimes there's no sense of direction.
There's one thing that most gamers are going to be irritated by, and that is how repetitive this game is. It seems they had a good story/plot, but they lacked the gaming design. This is how it goes: go to a city, climb 2-3 towers, assassinate someone, repeat 7 more times. Since the story was pretty interesting, it didn't really bother me that much because I wanted to find out what happens in the end! There was a moment where I did get stuck. The game doesn't really guide you to your next objective. Just know this when you play it: look for towers with eagles flying around it.
This game might make you return it after 2 hours of gameplay, but just keep going in it. I mean, it's a key to understand AC2 (at least from what the ending was).
Rent this game, play it all the way, and prepare for improvement in the following games.
In conclusion, this has a great story, but it's repetitive-- but it's not like you're buying it! :D
