i am only at the beginning of this game, and i have to say
the intro alone made me feel deeply engaged. the intros in other AC games are boring and are nothing more than big tutorials that walk your hand through every little thing. they are usually just walk and talk, in AC 4 i was thrust into Naval combat immediately.
the Naval combat has greatly improved, and now feels like an actual ship mechanic.
the multiplayer as usual is amazing.
the one thing i didnt understand was edward kenway.
i couldnt tell whether edward was an assassin or still just another pirate considering he is doing this all for money, will he later actually fight the templars or still be nothing more but swashbuckling scum
at first i was worried we would get another AC3 but that was quickly proven wrong, it is waaaayy better than ac3, for one theres no major cliff hangers. ive been playing this since the midnight release and still havent got everything, thats how much fun stuff there is to do. i wonder how they will top this if they decide to make another assassins creed game.
