I begin this review with a question. What is the most tedious and boring missions ever in video games? Like most gamers my answer is the dreaded escort mission. Be prepared for 3 hours of escort missions to begin the game. This is one of the most boring and forgettable starts to a game i have ever played. You have to round up a half dozen guys to help you do something in boston. I can't even remember why i was bringing this group together in the first place. I found myself turning the game off after every mission out of boredom. Then I would say to myself, "give it some time, it might be really fun after these first 3 hours of misery" only to turn the game off, pack it up and send it back. There might actually be a good game in time but for some reason i believe a game should get you sucked in right off the bat. I also thought the enviroments would be drasticly different, but once i got to boston it was the same as all the other ac games. I am sincerely sad this series of games has gone so down hill.

Well the graphics and cinematics are breath taking well worth a play. Only things I hated the story addon I wanted was really expensive, like buying another copy expensive and Some of the levels are near impossible with hiding from soldiers to get 100 on first play. Makes you scream. The gameplay is excellent.
Despite the return of the familiar and excellent freerun system, AC3 felt too much like the same old game in another environment. Unlike previous entries in the series, I felt no desire to want to complete the side missions or to bulk up my character's homestead (and would rather prefer the old RPG elements). I stayed true to the maiin mission almost entirely throughout the game and was pretty bored by the end of it. The environment was about as good as I've seen and while there were too many, the cut-scenes were also very well done. It should also be noted, however, that it there were an enormous amount of glitches encountered and really lazy enemy AI. Assassin's Creed is a great series but enough is enough, the franchise should be put to bed.
