When AC first came out, i liked the game, but it was flawed. Game movement was severely impaired, combat and motion were not as good as they could be. Then AC II came out, and it was a gigantic improvement. Since then the AC team has put out two more stellar games, AC Revelations and AC Brotherhood. However AC III FAILS on all accounts, beginning at the beginning. First of all i hate games that force you to watch cut scenes, secondly I hate games that have pointless cut scenes. In AC III you experience this, for the first half hour. After that, you have the ability to skip some vids, but only if you are able to button mash you way to this discovery. However for the following half hour or so, you are treated to pointless cut scenes, meaningless tasks, and game dialogue that could have been done without. I cant speak for the rest of the game, because after almost an hour and a half, i quit playing because, i found myself stuck just after a checkpoint, without a gun, needing a gun to proceed. The only way i could continue to play the game, was to start all over again. If you decide to play this game, remember not to drop the rifle. Not only does this game have more bugs than a cavern of creepy crawlies. but it is a devolution of the previous stellar accomplishments. No game has ever disappointed me more. I looked forward to playing this game since it became public knowledge, and waited quite a while for it to come in the mail, instead of buying it. The only joy I received from this game, was the knowledge that i didn't buy it, and the ability to mail it back the next day. I only wish i had the forethought to snap the disc in half and save anyone from suffering the utter disappointment from this fantastic accomplishment of failure across the boards.
