AC3 is the best of the series! I'm so happy to see a new assassin and a new engine. I loved the setting of the Ezio games but this is the setting everyone wanted. The american revolution is my favorite time period of all the games, and it will always be. I cant wait for the next installment and recommend not just this game, but the entire series.

Assassin's Creed 3 is a great game, but after you get all of the collectibles and complete the campaign, the singleplayer gets a little boring. The game has a few questionable game designs, like making maces and large axes similar, and having the knife be used completely differently than the previous games. As a fan of the previous games, I can't let these changes slide. The singleplayer also has a few glitches, both minor and major. All in all, I rate Assassin's Creed singleplayer a 8.
Now for multiplayer. Multiplayer has the traditional AC multiplayer experience, but with a few changes. Many of these changes I find very questionable, like changing the "Stun" button into the same button as the "Kill" button. This leads to many moments where I end up killing a nearby civilian instead of stunning my pursuer, losing points every time. Another frustration I have in multiplayer is the over-powered smoke bombs. Since I refuse to use the smoke bombs, I find myself at a major disadvantage. Every time I chase down a target, he or she always throws down a smoke bomb, stuns me, taunts me and runs away. Because of this I find myself more frustrated than enjoying my experience. I like the weapons selections and the customization options, but that cannot save the game if the gameplay is not enjoyable. All in all, I rate the multiplayer a 6.
